Lesson 4 - Constructing a Bar Graph with Intervals

 

To encourage students to have fun on the Web while learning about Constructing a Bar Graph with Intervals, here are some games and interactive activities they can do on their own or in pairs.

Instructions for Use

Grapher is an interactive activity that lets students choose a scale that is appropriate for the data.

To use Grapher, click on the arrows to create the columns. Click on the numbers to change the scale. Click on the words to change the titles.

 

Create a Graph lets students make a bar graph using appropriate intervals for the range of data collected.

To use Create a Graph, type in the title of the graph, and the horizontal and vertical titles. Calculate the number of bars needed for the bar graph. � Type the name, value, and colour for each bar. � Choose the 3D option, graph direction, graph size. Click 'Create Printable Graph' to see the results.
