Instructions for UseNumber Relationships prompts your child to use repeated addition. To use Number Relationships, skip-count by twos, start by pressing the number 2 on the interactive calculator. This number will appear in the calculator window. Press the + button on the calculator, the number 2 becomes shaded on the hundreds board. Press the number 2 again and the = button on the calculator. Keep pressing the = button to show the relationship of repeated addition and doubling to multiplying.
Double the Donuts helps your child visualize a doubling strategy. To use Double the Donuts, click on the 'Double It' button to see how the number of donuts increases. Notice the chart at the right of the program to see how quickly the number of donuts double.
Archery Double helps your child multiply using a doubling strategy. To use Archery Doubles, double the number on the board, and click on the correct part of the target.
