Instructions for Use
Perimeter Explorer helps your child investigate the perimeter of different shapes. To use Perimeter Explorer, slide the 'Adjust Area' Slider to change the perimeter of the square units. Click the "Draw New Shape" button. Determine what the shape's perimeter with be and type your answer into the text field. Click the 'Check Answer" button. To draw a new shape, click the 'Draw New Shape' button.
Area Explorer prompts your child investigate the area of different shapes. To use Area Explorer, slide the 'Adjust Maximum Size' slider to change the shape of the units. Click the "Draw New Shape" button. Determine what the shape's area with be and type your answer into the text fields. Click the 'Check Answer" button. To draw a new shape, click the 'Draw New Shape' button.
