Instructions for UseProbability lets your child experiment with probability by spinning a spinner. To use Probability, start by selecting 'Preset Spinner'. Choose the number of spins - 1, 5, or 10. Click the 'Spin' button. A tally chart records the results of each spin. Press the 'Clear Tally' button to clear the results and start again. To use 'Make Your own Spinner', select the 'New Spinner' button. To increase or decrease the colour sections, click the '+' or '-' buttons, or drag the black dots on the spinner. Choose the number of spins - 1, 5, or 10. Click the 'Spin' button. A tally chart records the results of each spin. Press the 'Clear Tally' button to clear the results and start again.
Spinners teaches your child about chance and random choices. To use Spinners, click the 'Spin' button and record the result of each spin on a tally chart. To change the spinner, click the 'Change Spinner' button. In the text field, input the title for each section. Choose a colour to represent the title by clicking on the colour palette bar at the right. Click the 'Apply' button. To change either the text fields or the colours, click the 'Reset' button.
