Builds UponStudent Book page 305 Instructions for UseMeasuring Scales is an interactive activity that lets students estimate and measure the mass of objects by adding or subtracting weights from a scale. To use Measuring Scales, set the red marker to a target weight on the scale. Show a digital display by clicking on the black dot at the button of the scale. To change the value of the scale, click the maximum buttons up or down. To change the markers shown on the scale, click the interval buttons up or down. To add weight to the scale pan, click the '+' button beside each weight. To subtract weight to the scale pan, click the '-' button beside each weight. Click the 'Reset' button to start again.
